With the scrape frozen the Jack Snipe relocated to the edge of one of the ice free lagoons today (7/12/10).

Colour ringed Common Tern
This juv. Common Tern has spent the past week at Grovebury, it is one the forty ringed at Wilstone Reservoir this year.

This stunning juvenile put in a brief appearance at Grovebury this morning, before flying off north on its own.

Corn Bunting, Meadow Pipit and Skylark
These three are nesting very close to each other in a field in south Beds, the CB about 20mtrs in to a cereal crop.
